Lankaran - Astara tour

Lankaran, Astara, Masalli, Lerik, Yardimli and Jalilabad are included in the Lankaran-Astara region, which located at the south of Azerbaijan.

Climate of this zone of Azerbaijan allows to grow citrus plants and fruits. Tea, feijoa, mandarin, kiwi, orange, lemon are grow in this region.

The Lankaran has black sand beaches, which are used for therapeutic purposes. 

The south region is also rich with historical monuments. “Zindan” fortress, “Kichik qala” mosque, “Guldasta minaresi”, “Haci Mirze” bath, House of Khan are historical monuments of Lankaran city and they are preserved till now.

Masalli is famous with its thermal healing waters. Thermal healing waters (contains hydrogen-sulfide, natrium-chlorcalsium, magnesium-hydrocarbonate and 30 milligrams of iodine per liter of water) are used in sanatorium for treatment against to many diseases.

The Southern region cuisine has a special place in the national cuisine of Azerbaijan. “Borani plov”, “levengi”with bird and fish, “baliqli kuku”, “fisincan” are popular dishes of this region.
