Ganja - Goygol tour

Ganja is the second biggest city in Azerbaijan after Baku. Ganja city is located at the north-eastern part of the Small Caucasus, on the Ganja-Gazakh plain, at both sides of the Ganja River.

In 1918, Ganja was the first capital of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, which was the first democratic republic in the East.

Nizami mausoleum, Ganja Gates, Shah Abbas Mosque, Imamzade Tomb, Bottle house, Goygol National Park and Javad Khan Tomb are Ganja's famous tourist destinations.

The most famous and biggest park of Ganja is the Khan garden. Khan's garden was built in 1700. The total area is 6 hectares. Khan's garden is related with the name of Ziyad khan. There are more than 100 species of trees.

Ganja cuisine is one of the tasty part Azerbaijan national cuisine. “Firni”, “pakhlava”, “zilviya”, “nazik” and “dovgha” are examples of the Ganja cuisine.
